ABOUT

I'm a perpetual snacker so Just the Dip is the perfect outlet for all of my dipping needs. When I'm not cooking up ideas or dips for JTD, I'm usually out on an adventure with my border terrier pup Pickles, illustrating greeting cards or, well... cooking! I work for a city farm that delivers fresh, local produce to the people of the 6ix and I get to create lots of delicious recipes for them too. I recently moved into a crazy condo in downtown Toronto, which is where we take all of our beautiful photos.

favourite dip... There is this delicious salsa made with colourful, chopped veggies and peaches that is the perfect summer dip. We'll make it in August and I'll be dreaming of it until then!
best part about just the dip... I really can't choose, I love it all! Being with Laura and Zoe, dreaming up dips, staging beautiful photos, watching our pups play, crafting, chatting, blogging... everything

something you don't know about Laura... Basically everything you need to know about Laura can be summed up by the fact that she sings Brandy's "Have You Ever" to her dog Goldie every night

When I'm not dipping, you can find me at home knitting next to my ginger kitty, Meowla, or out for a long walk with my golden retriever, Goldie Goldhopf. I love finding great beer/dip combinations and so far I think the caramelized onion dip + hopfenweise is the best. Here at JTD I act as Kim's sous chef and dog wrangler. You can also spot my large ass hands in photos trying to look dainty and normal sized. 

favourite dip...caramelized onion dip with extra sour cream, or just straight up sour cream...or pizza pizza garlic dipping sauce (I hope to recreate this greatness)
best part about just the dip... chilling with my besties! And eating whatever food and snacks that Kim has lying around her beautiful apartment

something you don't know about Zoe... when she tastes something she loves, she does the best dance and won't stop dancing around the room until there's none left (last seen with the 'Boy with the Bread Bowl' dip)

I'm just a simple 25-year-old who is obsessed with dipping. But when I'm not doing that, I work professionally in digital marketing and also freelance write on all things beauty-related. I currently live downtown Toronto, one street east of Laura, with my partner and our imaginary corgi. And while I fully admit to having no experience in the kitchen (this whole project is spearheaded by my two perfect and magical best friends), I take full credit on photographing, eating and reviewing each dish featured on this site. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

something you don't know about Kim...Kim used to collect beanie babies with the hopes they would one day pay for her University tuition. I never tire of hearing her recount this story because it sounds like it got out of control and never paid off. A modern day tragedy
